While most of our clients are Texas-based, we have filled positions around the United States and as far away as Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Founded in 2006 in a small office above a Western wear store in Houston, Pye Legal Group has grown to three offices and a team of nearly 15 people.

Each of our recruiters has years (in most cases, decades) of experience in recruiting as well as prior careers as attorneys or paralegals. We talk to lawyers and paralegals every single day, following them from the early years of their careers to the most senior levels. We are legal industry experts with an unparalleled professional network and access to legal talent.

Pye Legal Group recruits for both direct hire or “permanent” positions as well as providing short-term and long-term temporary staffing of attorneys, paralegals, and contracts managers.

Susan Pye

The founder of Pye Legal Group, Susan Pye, was a pioneer in legal recruiting. She was a smart, tenacious, and compassionate businesswoman and a generous supporter of a number of charitable organizations.

Over the course of three decades, she built the legal staffs of hundreds of law departments and boutique law firms; advised General Counsels and other corporate executives; counseled and elevated the careers of countless lawyers; and championed diversity. Thanks to Susan’s vision and leadership, Pye Legal Group is the top legal recruiting firm in Texas. Though Susan passed away in 2019, Pye Legal Group maintains her commitment to excellence, integrity, and relationships.
